Presentation of the Jelic winery in Vienna

In the luxurious hotel "De France", in the heart of the Austrian capital, on 8th and 9th of October 2011 a very successful presentation of wines and wineries from Serbia was organized, including the Jelic winery.

In the luxurious hotel „De France“, in the heart of the Austrian capital, on 8^th and 9^th of October 20011 was organized a very successful presentation of wines and wineries from Serbia, including the wineries was also represented the Jelić winery. The promotion was attended by numerous representatives of Austrian diplomats and state institutions.

General sponsors of the successful promotion, which brought together about 160 guests, were the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Austria and the hotel “De France”. Their products presented the following wineries: Jelic (Pocerina), Aleksandrovic (Topola), Zivkovic (Indjija), Radovanovic (Krnjevo), Matalj (Negotin), Kovacevic (Irig).

On that occasion the speech was held by a great friend of the Serbian people and wine lover of Serbian wines and former Ambassador of the Netherlands and Ambassador of the Netherlands I Austria, Mr. Ron Van Dartl. He spoke of the beauty and quality of Serbian wines and wineries and its satisfaction that such an event takes place in Vienna.

The idea of organizers was to present the Austrian public that Serbia has excellent wineries and wines and establishing initial contacts and the preparation of the Austrian market for sales of Serbian wines.

There were numerous of diplomats from nine embassies, representatives of the  media and professional journals for viticulture. Among of guests were representatives of the Sebian Ortodox Church in Austria, artists and many prominent figures of Austria and Serbia society.This presentation has demonstrated potential and interests for Serbian wines.
