Velika dvorana Top of the Hub na 25. spratu PC Ušće bila je u noć pred vinarsku slavu Svetog Trifuna stecište ovdašnjih vinara, vinoljubaca, ljudi iz vinarske branše, vladinih ministara, novinara, ali i poznatih umetnika koji su došli da odaju priznanje Vinariji Milijan Jelić koja je u izboru Vino.rs proglašena za Najbolju vinariju Srbije u 2017. godini.

ROZETA VEČITI SIMBOL SRPSTVA
U prisustvu diplomata iz evropskih zemalja, naučnih, kulturnih i javnih ličnosti Crne Gore, Beograda i Valjeva, pored zastave sa rozetom, postavljene na vrhu Malog Povlena, otvoreno je i probano novo vino Rozeta 2012 vinarije Jelić. Domaćin Milijan Jelić pozdravio je goste i uputio poruku sa „Krova Sveta“, koju prenosimo u celosti.

This is how it was... On a gloomy autumn Saturday morning whoever could set off from our capital towards Bujačić, a village near Valjevo. From the half way on, we stopped following the signposts, but were drawn by intoxicating smells of the roast ox that was spun from the early dawn in front of the Jelic winery. There we met our host wearing a traditional linen suit, ever beautiful hostess and a cheerful group of employees putting the final touch to the decorating... They were spreading the new banner for the promotion of Slavic dream. My attention was caught by a catchphrase which people who deal with wine in this winery have: “think, speak and do the same”. Such a simple and yet deep thought and point it bears. I decided to embrace it myself.

In Zagreb, restaurant Opera for more than few months lures Croatian gourments with well-known Serbian specialities. Opera restaurant is the first Serbian restaurant in Zagreb publicly declared as such. Traditional Serbian specialities are offered on the menu of the small, but nicely decorated restaurant, that in a short time became a “must” place for Croatian jet set.

Invited by the most famous wine shop in Friuli, Enoteca di Cormons, Milijan Jelic winery held wine tasting in the Collio wine region, in city of Cormons, Italy. This was the first time that some Serbian winery had its own wine presentation in this well-known wine region.

Tourist Serbian Organization awarded prizes "Tourist Flower" to organizations and individuals for the excellent service and promotion of Serbian tourism at the event of celebration The World Tourist Day on September 27th. This year the Public Enterprise Valjevo Tourist appeared with the "Wine cellar project" and was awarded "Tourist Flower" as the best wine cellar in Serbia and as well as one of the most interesting tourist attractions in Valjevo region and Serbia. The gala award ceremony was held on September 29th 2009, where Milijan Jelic took the prize on behalf of the Jelic wine cellar.

The Jelic wine cellar presented the wine Tamuz Morava 2008 and Prokupac 2007 at Merano International WineFestival and Culinaria, Italy, from November 6th until 9th. One can be present at Merano Festival only if being invited by organizers, yet this year beside more than 300 European wine cellars, also the Jelic wine cellar was invited. Over 50 jury members have tasted 4,724 samples, sent from all over Europe, in the last five months, and they chose 1,341 to be presented at this event.

Except of the abundance of domestic and international awards, that have been assigned to our wine, a special pleasure gives us the award ‘’The Captain Misa Anastasijevic’’, which was assigned to Milijan Jelic as ‘’The best host in 2008’’ on March 24th 2009, under the patronage of Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Our wines were bedecked with even five gold medals at the wine assessment Royal Wine Challenge held last summer at the White Palace. Due to the quality of our wine, which is confirmed best with numerous domestic and over twenty international awards, of which six are gold ones, and also by His Royal Highness Crown prince Alexander II Karadjordjevic we were awarded the title of Court supplier, by which we have become the exclusive suppliers of Royal Palace with our wines.

Once again we were awarded a silver medal in Europe. Our Chardonnay Barrique 07 has been bedecked with a silver medal at Chardonnay du Monde, after a bronze medal from the previous year and maturing which has lasted for twelve months.
